Townscaper IPA Build old fashioned island cities with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, hovering cathedrals, canal networks, or sky towns on stilts. Block through block. No goal. No actual gameplay. Just lots of constructing and lots of beauty. That’s it. Townscaper is an experimental ardour project. More of a toy than a game. Pick shades from the palette, plop down coloured blocks of residence at the abnormal grid, and watch Townscaper’s underlying set of rules mechanically flip the ones blocks into lovely little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and plush backyards, relying on their configuration.
